Joseph Wheelwright carves stones and trees, large and small. He was recently honored with a year long exhibition of his stone heads and tree figures at the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park in Lincoln, Massachusetts. This year, Fruitlands in Harvard, MA, is hosting a significant exhibition of his large outdoor works. He is represented in New York by the Allan Stone Gallery. Wheelwright’s summer studio in Vermont includes a bronze foundry created by and for members of the Boston Sculptors Gallery.
