Sarah Hutt is a mixed media sculptor whose work focuses on memory, dreams and the ever-changing reality they create. Combining text with everyday objects she tells stories that remind us of our commonality.
Her work has been exhibited nationally and received awards and fellowships from the New England Foundation for the Arts, and Massachusetts Cultural Council, Pollack-Krasner Foundation and Boston Society of Architecture, She is a graduate of the Boston Museum School and winner of a 5th year Fellowship.
Sarah Hutt has a long standing advocate for the arts, working as a consultant advising developers who wish to include public art in new developments, creating maintenance plans for public art collections, developing economic opportunities for visual artists, coordinating temporary public art projects, and creating collaborations between individual artists and community organizations. She is the former Director of Visual Arts for the City of Boston
